Our Commitment to Transparency

Perfect Paw Pups is dedicated to providing healthy, well‑cared‑for Maltese and Mal‑Shi puppies to loving homes. This Refund Policy explains when refunds may be issued, how deposits work, and what buyers should expect throughout the adoption process. Our goal is to ensure clarity, fairness, and confidence for every family.

Non‑Refundable Deposits

To reserve a puppy, Perfect Paw Pups requires a non‑refundable deposit. Deposits can be rolled over up to 1 year after original pickup date if you decided to wait on a different litter that you were originally reserved for.

This deposit:

• Removes the puppy from all listings

• Guarantees the puppy is held exclusively for you

• Covers administrative and care‑related costs

Because the puppy is taken off the market immediately, deposits cannot be refunded under any circumstances, including buyer cancellation, change of plans, or failure to complete payment.

Refund Eligibility

Refunds are only considered under the following circumstances:

1. Breeder‑Initiated Cancellation

If Perfect Paw Pups must cancel a sale due to unforeseen circumstances, such as:

• A health concern identified by our licensed veterinarian

• A situation that prevents the puppy from being safely placed

In these rare cases, buyers may choose:

• A full refund, or

• A transfer of deposit to another available or upcoming puppy

2. Health Guarantee Conditions

If a licensed veterinarian determines that a puppy has a serious congenital or hereditary condition covered under our Health Guarantee, buyers may be eligible for:

• A replacement puppy of equal value, or

• A refund as outlined in the Health Guarantee terms

A written veterinary report is required for review.

Situations Not Eligible for Refunds

Refunds will not be issued for:

• Buyer remorse or change of preference

• Allergies, landlord restrictions, or housing issues

• Failure to pick up the puppy on the agreed date

• Inability to provide proper care

• Personal scheduling conflicts

• Any condition not covered under the Health Guarantee

Once a puppy leaves our care, Perfect Paw Pups cannot offer refunds for behavioral, training, or adjustment‑related issues.

Cancellations

If a buyer chooses to cancel after placing a deposit:

• The deposit remains non‑refundable

• Any additional payments made may be refunded only if the puppy has not yet been picked up or delivered before turning 6 weeks old, after 6 weeks old all sales are final excluding 7-day health guarantee

• Once the puppy is in your possession, all sales are final

Refund Processing

Approved refunds are processed within 7–10 business days.

Refunds are issued to the original payment method unless otherwise agreed in writing.
